Hair should be trimmed 1/8" - 1/4" and no longer for best results and a more comfortable service.  Discontinue the use of retinol based products for 3-5 days prior to your appointment to avoid injury and/or irritation, 6 months if on Accutane.  Avoid sun exposure for 48 hours after your service.
